Man oh man has this whole 'lose weight' thing has been a struggle!! I'm at the 5 month mark and have only lost 13lbs!! There were three weeks in a row that I didn't gain or lose a pound. It was so discouraging. I think it was because I started adding weight lifting into my routines, instead of just cardio at the gym and bike riding. I'm 12lbs away from where I want to be and although it's been a really, really, really long struggle, it feels good to be this close.
The truth is, I could be working out much more regularly and eating better. For most people, I think that's the case. Even if the scale moves just a little, my Monday weigh-ins start my day off right. Hopefully I'll drop those last 12lbs by my birthday (December 10th). That's my goal.
