... is when you weren't really together in the first place. But you discover this after he blows you off.
After he stops being the really amazing guy, that is completely different then the usual uninteresting, clueless dudes that run in and out of your Friday nights.
You find out that you weren't meant to mean that much to him after he starts meaning something to you.
You realize what little of an impact you made because you're acting like a puppy - loyal to a fault, stumbling over your own steps - texting him, when he's not texting you. Calling him and hating yourself for calling him because you know he's not going to fucking answer... or call you back.
You were never together. You were not a couple. You were on your way but...
You were mistaken.

Hayley.......Your amazing and I just wanted to tell you that. There are days when I look at my whole life in perspective and I smile then they're days when I don't, but we are our hardest critics. From what I see with you, I smile. And I know Jon's smiling at you too....
