running in Portland

(standing in the OMSI parking lot, looking at the West side)

Took a vacation day - just have class. Woke up late but still decided to run the Water Front Loop (3 miles, Hawthorne Bridge to Steel Bridge). Parked at OMSI and took off. I haven't ran in so, so long. I guess the excuses I use are I don't have a good sports bra (and any lady with Ds or bigger sincerely knows this is not a joke), I'd rather just do the stair machine (but I end up not doing the stair machine). No excuses this morning. After rafting this weekend and feeling so self conscious about my body, not running was not an option.

I did 3 miles in 34 minutes. Ideally, I want my jogging mile to be between 8-9 minutes. Gotta start somewhere :)

Girl, I totally understand not having a good sports bra! They are so damn hard to find!

Good job by getting out there today. I need to be doing the same thing. I decided a few months back I wanted to make jogging/running part of my routine but have done a terrible job incorporating it into my day.

If you're doing it, I can do it.

Right on! I commend you for just doing it, and yes...I don't run because I can't find a sports bra too. Okay, that last part is only half true...I just don't run.

M - YOU CAN DO IT! My sister recommended this site for a sports bra and I just ordered this one:

I'll let you know if it lives up to it's hype :)
